Early Years staff have completed or are working towards a level 2 or level 3 course in childcare and education. Our staff receive a comprehensive induction programme as they start their career with us. Their induction covers an introduction to our policies and procedures, child protection and safeguarding and the extensive practices to familiarise themselves with our standards and procedures.
We are always encouraging our staff to further their teaching expertise and look to employ the best qualified staff, especially those with higher qualifications in English and Maths.
We abide by Ofsted requirements in respect of references and suitability checks for staff and volunteers, to ensure that no disqualified person or unfit person works at the setting or has access to the children.
All enhanced CRB disclosure checks are updated on a regular basis to ensure the suitability of the adults caring for the children and all staff have been trained in paediatric First Aid.
Our multicultural carers reflect the nursery's inclusiveness to support families with bilingual language skills, celebrating successes and communicating daily of your child's achievements.

Staff/child ratios are 1:3 for 0-2 year olds; 1:4 for 2-3 year olds, and 1:8 for 3-5 year olds.
